One Heart Source charity is committed to promoting the well-being, growth and development of abandoned and orphaned children in developing countries through high quality care and education programs.  OHS advocates education programs designed to build and promote academic enrichment, life skills and character development. OHS believes that such programs empower youth to build effective lives, become potential community leaders and most importantly continue the cycle of positive social change.

One of OHS's current projects is an educational campaign focused on promoting the development of Tanzanian orphans. The primary goal is to stop the generational transmission of HIV/A.I.D.S. which has contributed to making Tanzania home to the second largest population of orphaned children in the world. This program is unique in that it is run completely on solar energy and is the first completely student initiated orphanage being implemented in Africa.
